The location of the testing center allows for patients to be safely tested off the platform of the green line or up the ramp from the street. The usage of sustainable materials drove the development of the center as well as the positioning of the testing center on the embankment which created an opportunity for access through a ramp system. The equally spaced ramp seating and the gardens in between provide a more pleasurable experience while waiting in line to be tested, practicing safe social distancing measures. While the center is meant to currently be used for COVID testing, there is potential for utilizing the space for future use.
